Review: Spectacular for wood finish on outdoor furniture. - I love this oil for my hand-made exterior chairs and tables. I needed three coats to get the sheen I desired and it was so easy. With only one coat (which the company recommends) dirt sort of stuck to the pieces. Once I applied three coats, the sheen is like polyurethane and it makes wiping down the chairs easy. I started with the spray, then graduated to a gallon. I applied with a sponge brush and let it soak in for about 15 minutes, then wiped down with a cloth and let fully dry. I had to pay close attention to not letting the stain run while applying it. It's pretty liquid, so pay attention to where it goes. It looks spectacular on the redwood I used for the furniture. Came out much better than I expected and I didn't have to use poly for a great finish. It will be interesting to see how long it lasts until I have to reapply. I'm a fan!!
