I bought two boxes, one for myself and one for my family, and both cakes tasted fresh, moist, and had plenty of fruit distributed throughout. The panettone was a big hit with everyone and I will definitely order more in the future. I was worried about how these would arrive considering some of the scathing reviews, but I was relieved to see that they were fine. Great price for high quality, boxed panettone. The only thing is that these are no longer "all butter" as advertised. Amazon needs to update the information on the page. Butter is now far down on the ingredients list and margarine is being used instead - consequently, the taste is a little different and trans fats may be an issue. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Whole Foods's Panettone is better *by D***A on Reviewed in the United States on December 21, 2012* This brand is only so-so in my books. The firmness and texture is fine and it is not too dry. However, because my taste buds are very sensitive to preservatives, this brand probably uses ingredients that contain a bit too much preservatives. One bite, and I could tell the preservatives inside. If you have a Whole Foods near you, I suggest you get your panettone from there (store brand). They cost about the same and taste A LOT more natural than this. This brand isn't terrible; it is just you can do better for more or less the same price. I suppose, by spring, when I'm craving panettone and it is out of season, this brand would do just fine.
