I always at least look for Organic and from Japan (not China) which often means having to spend quite a bit. However, this one was priced just right for fitting both those requirement. I took one star off because although it says it’s Japanese matcha the bottom of the wrapper said it was made in China?? I am very confused about that. Should I assume it was grown in Japan but processed in China? However, that being said it is a very nice matcha with a deep green color and very nice taste. If the price stays the same I would buy this brand again when I run out. ### ⭐⭐⭐ This product is currently under review - buyer beware *by P***G on Reviewed in the United States on December 21, 2018* As one reviewer had described, there was an address of processing plant/factory of this item, as China. Not sure if they use genuine Japanese matcha leaves or if they are produced using green tea leaves from China. Clearly the company and seller needs to fix this. However, the taste does seem authentic and of good quality for a ceremonial grade but I believe it may also pass as culinary grade. Not buying again. ### ⭐ Not edible!
