Review: Received this product today, carefully set it up, plugged it in and it looks ok. Went to adjust the color and brightness, which can only be done with the remote, only to find the remote doesn't work. Not even sure if it includes a battery, I went to check, only to be stymied by the strikingly poorly designed cover of the very cheaply made remote. My wife and I both tried for several minutes to get the cover off. We then tried to pry it by force. We failed. I took the product off the tv and threw it away, as it's not worth the hassle of returning. Still not sure if the battery is missing, or dead, or if there's some other problem, but it doesn't matter any more. Purchase this product at your own risk.

Received this product today, carefully set it up, plugged it in and it looks ok. Went to adjust the color and brightness, which can only be done with the remote, only to find the remote doesn't work. Not even sure if it includes a battery, I went to check, only to be stymied by the strikingly poorly designed cover of the very cheaply made remote. My wife and I both tried for several minutes to get the cover off. We then tried to pry it by force. We failed. I took the product off the tv and threw it away, as it's not worth the hassle of returning. Still not sure if the battery is missing, or dead, or if there's some other problem, but it doesn't matter any more. Purchase this product at your own risk.
