This is relatively inexpensive and did what it said it would. Out of the box from the mail, the light inside is easy to see. I purchased it for a friend's project and left it with him so he can have one on hand. I showed him exactly what I did, so he can be certain to use it to check the wires when connecting lights and other items to the boxes in his apartment. It is small and sturdy and I know it will be used again and again with simple lighting installation and other home projects. FYI, I did not choose this one due to its brand... I recommend it based on my personal experience with it.
