Review: Love the shoes, hate the color options - I was pretty happy when I found the Flint 1s that I had before I bought these. Keen has a really good steel toe with a wide toe box that makes them not feel like steel toes very much. The problem I had with those was the top loops were off in some way I never figured out but made it very hard to get them at the right tightness. Those lasted 2 years (twice what any other steel toe I had before lasted) and even then it only really wore out because of the heel portion due to sliding in and out of them to avoid retying. This version is even more comfortable, one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever had actually and they also fixed the lacing problem. The only downside is they cut back on the mesh (so a bit less breathable than the Flint 1s) and the color options. I REALLY don't like brown shoes and my color choices were 'really brown' or 'kinda brown'. The fact that I'm still giving these shoes 5 stars in spite of hating the color tells you how great they are in every other way.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love the shoes, hate the color options

I was pretty happy when I found the Flint 1s that I had before I bought these. Keen has a really good steel toe with a wide toe box that makes them not feel like steel toes very much. The problem I had with those was the top loops were off in some way I never figured out but made it very hard to get them at the right tightness. Those lasted 2 years (twice what any other steel toe I had before lasted) and even then it only really wore out because of the heel portion due to sliding in and out of them to avoid retying. This version is even more comfortable, one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever had actually and they also fixed the lacing problem. The only downside is they cut back on the mesh (so a bit less breathable than the Flint 1s) and the color options. I REALLY don't like brown shoes and my color choices were 'really brown' or 'kinda brown'. The fact that I'm still giving these shoes 5 stars in spite of hating the color tells you how great they are in every other way.

Great shoes! On the second pair and appreciate the quality construction. Wore the first pair out. Appreciate the lightweight for long hours at work. No foot pain whatsoever. Have worn in the winter snows and never had a problem with slippage on the snow. Worth the money!
