All of the other big brand names have been bought out, consolidated etc. (looking at you DeWalt!) ha. He really likes the ergonomics on the tool and he went head-to-head with a co-worker who has a Milwaukee and was able to drill a hole in concrete almost 2 seconds faster. Impressive! Honestly kind of wish I didn't invest so heavily in Ryobi because I would switch to Makita in a heartbeat. If you're just getting started or looking to switch brands definitely go for Makita!
