So, reading the tag, followed the machine wash instructions and 24 hours later (drying time) viola, pristine once more. now onto the quality.: for as "light" as this coat weighs, it's STAGGERINGLY warm and wind resistant. Have been wearing it outside running errands with wind chills below zero and completely comfortable. Size is adequate, got an extra large in case I had layers on, but it's roomy.
