**Q: Does this block the other plug from being used?**
A: The surge protector plugs horizontally exposing the top plug when plugged into the lower plug of a standard 120V 15/20amp plug mounted vertically.

**Q: Have LG washer and dryer that plug into same outlet, can only plug on of these in, blocks other plug. Isthere one that accomodates two in same outlet?**
A: As far as plugging in both washer and dryer, please note the maximum amp draw for this unit 12 amps.  If you run both washer and dryer simultaneously, it may exceed this limit.  If so, I would buy a separate, long-bodied surge protector rated at 2,000 joules, or higher, and then plug two of these into it.  One for each appliance.  Then you can have some peace of mind.

**Q: How thick is it?**
A: When plugged in the one I have is about an inch thick. The appliance plug is indented as shown and this will add to the total thickness depending on your appliance plug. 1 3/4 inches is probably the answer you are looking for.

**Q: Can this be used on a refrigerator?**
