Review: its not bright at all - even when its dark the timing light is too dim, cant even read the timing marks on pulley. i do like the display , easy to read. if you have eye problems like me , keep looking elsewhere, i returned it. Update: Great customer service!! I will do business with them again, as they took care of me. The timing light does need some work as I said in the original review and hopefully they can get it fixed. If you have good eyes then this shouldn't be a issue, the rest of the product works and has great features. updated from 3 stars to 5, the timing gun is not a bad product, their customer service I enjoy and that alone gives it more stars

A: Check that the clamp is on #1 plug wire, arrow toward plug. Red = +, black = –. Not for CDI systems. Flash won't work if setup is incorrect.

**Q: RPM or timing readings are unstable—what should I check?**
A: Inductive sensor clip may be loose, reversed, or near interference. Reposition on clean #1 plug wire. Slight flicker (±2–3°) is normal on some engines.

**Q: The strobe stops above 3500 RPM—is that normal?**
A: Yes. KT60 pauses flashing at high RPM to prevent overheating. This is normal protection. Tune at lower RPM and release trigger when done.

**Q: Is my engine compatible with KT60?**

even when its dark the timing light is too dim, cant even read the timing marks on pulley. i do like the display , easy to read. if you have eye problems like me , keep looking elsewhere, i returned it. What a POS. It could barely pick up a pulse from my #1 plug wire at all, then would only flash about every 20 revolutions. It seemed to die out entirely the longer I used it, eventually it just wouldn’t flash at all. The cycle of BS would start over again if I unplugged it and let it rest for a few minutes. When set to 0deg advance it was actually flashing at about 20deg off of where my timing mark actually is. I checked it against my non-adjustable timing light and this thing was way off. It actually more closely matched when I attached the lead to cylinder #3. Wtf? I know I can get a money refund, but I can’t get back the 3 hours I wasted driving back and forth to my boat, screwing around with this garbage, then finding a replacement.
