I bought a small and it fits well. I wanted something very loose and this nightgown fits the bill. The embroidered panel at the neck sits on the chest, above the breasts. Then the material flows down and out. So there is no tightness or restriction around the breasts or hips. **Q: does this nightgown have a seam down the back? i received one made this way. very uncomfortable to wear** A: No seam down the back. I have several & really like them. Quality fabric. Fit & finish is great. The color is true to the photo and the fabric is not flimsy at all. I like a nylon nightgown and they can be difficult to find, especially a long one with a short sleeve. The neckline on this gown is pretty and feminine. This would make a nice gift.
