I did have to put different mounts on the scope as it came with the narrow ones. The Benjamin 392 is a difficult gun to mount a scope to and the Crossman mount attaches to the barrel, whereas this mount attaches to the larger more stable tube portion which holds the bolt on the back, and the front mount secures to the same tube, but in front of the bolt where the pellet sits while chambered. The mounts are thick and well made, and the package comes with two allen wrenches one to fit the screw which tightens the mounting blocks to the tube, and ones to tighten the rail to the mounts. The entire system creates a solid stable platform for your scope rings, but it does sit a bit high when compared to what I would call a standard scope mount. However keep in mind, this gun if difficult to attach a scope to, so this is the best option I've seen thus far. Scope is nice quality for the price too. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ excellent for new benji 392 *by C***3 on January 8, 2013* This intermount attaches to the receiver very well with the first ring just forward of the pellet loading port and the rear ring about one inch forward of the bolt. The rings are just high enough so the bolt clears the bottom of the scope when cocking the trigger. I mounted my scope (Crosspoint 2-7 AO x40) so that the forward Weaver ring is just above the forward intermount ring. This allows me to apply hand pressure to the top of the forward Weaver ring when pumping. The pressure is transmitted directly through both rings without bothering the scope. The scope is too high to get a good sight picture with a good cheek weld without using a cheek riser attachment to the stock. I am using an Accu-Riser which works fairly well. The weaver rail is about 2 inches too long in front of the forward ring when mounted on a Benjamin 392 as described and could be cut off if desired.
