I will say that yes, the washers it comes with are cheap and will bend, do yourself a favor and spend a few pennies for some better washers at your hardware store. Easiest way to install is get the original bolts loose and place the spacer under the carrier bearing. One at a time with rhe new bolts. Some people complained about the washer so I replaced mine with better quality ones.
