Leviton 47611-GT4 10/100Mbps 4-Port Internet Gateway

My media box recently got renovated. The wire mess I had in it got organized and was using an old linksys wired router. It still seemed messy so getting this Leviton router which is designed for the media box seemed like a better idea.It did take longer for it to arrive but can't blame ups or amazon. It was the weather that caused it. So upon getting it I installed it into my media box and connected all Ethernet cables. Well I can say the speed on this router is amazing. For being 10/100 mps it does work great.It handles a security camera system, 4 computers, 2 tablets, a blueray player, and 2 cell phones really well. Do wish the instructions on the router had more thought put into it because it took me a while to figure out port forwarding.So once again great but from amazon.

I specifically looked to see this product was new prior to shipping, the description stated it was. Im about 75% sure it is pre owned.Its not my first Leviton product so Im not too worried about how old it is. It was clean and in its own box. Arrived via snail mail so If you order, it will be a few days.

This router was purchased to replace the exact same 4-port router mounted in our home communications panel. It allows for four rooms in our house to have hard-wired Cat 5 computer connectivity to the internet. We're very happy with the performance and would purchase it again if/when the current router needs to be replaced.

This unit went in fast, connected fast, and has a great menu sys tem. For me, much better than the Linksys units I had been using, I was so impressed, I bought a second for when the original gives up.I do wish it had 8 ports though!

Six months in and this keeps humming along. Really like the tidy installation with the mounting kit. Web interface gets the job done. Solid build quality.
