I'm using them to mix up artist paints, some of which are likely to go lumpy overnight if not mixed thoroughly. Of course, you'll need to get yourself a magnetic stirrer to use them with but this need not break the bank. In case you are still wondering what to do with these things, you'll set your stirrer on a level surface and plug it in - then you'll put your container of lumpy stuff on top of the stirrer (make sure that your stirrer is set to zero or things could get exciting) - drop in your chosen flea and then ramp up the revs - your flea will rotate, agitating the mixture. Usually, the fleas would be short bars like a couple of this collection but here we also have a large round one with spokes poking out of it, a small ball and a cruciferous one plus a long rod with which to retrieve them with.
