The water proof bottom is perfect for use camping- we bought it to take camping for her, it packs up , not exactly small so car camping only- but rolls up super easy. It’s been great to toss on the ground, bottom protects from damp and the comfy top has enough loft to cushion her- important since she’s an older tripaw. We’ve taken it to visit friends and she knows exactly where to go lay down. Top is easy to wipe clean. I really can’t say enough about this - well constructed, durable, comfy, easy to clean and my pup loves it ! I used it both in my camper as well as on the ground outside while camping. It truly is water resistant and the dirt/mud easily shakes off or can be cleaned with a damp rag. The padding is minimal but it’s a nice barrier between the ground and my puppy. I’ve also started training her to “place” on this as I will be using it for traveling on airplanes and trains while in Europe. She is not at chewer so I can’t speak to how chew resistant it is but it’s durable yet still easy to roll up for transport.
