Each time it leaves my dog clean as expected. The scent isn't too strong and the pooch never seems to mind it. Perfect to clean up muddy legs or to just hit the top of the head. The cap fits on snug and the pump works great.The only downside is the label on the outside of the bottle seems pretty cheap, almost like it was printed off on someone's home printer. The only reason I mention this is although it came sealed in a bag, some how a little product leaked out during transport. When I went to rinse the bottle off the label just about slipped off. They play outdoors in the garden all day so a couple of days after their bath they have an unpleasant oder. I use this foam shampoo as a touch-up between baths. My only complaint is that it doesn't go very far. I have found that I use less per application if I dampen their hair with a baby wipe first, apply the foam shampoo with a clean damp baby wipe and then wipe off the residue with another baby wipe. Seems like a lot of trouble when I write it out.
