I have been using truffel and truffel oils from different parts of the works for about a year, boardline a hobbiest when it comes to truffel, so when I opened the jar and barley smelled truffel and then tasted it to find it even lacking more so I was pretty disappointed and dissatisfied. HOWEVER overall it is tasty to add on top of some delectible cheese and crackers or, as i found out, very tasty on top of hot cooked meat like steak or even hamburgers! So worth a shot. I am hoping it was just THIS particular jar, and plan on ordering again once its in season again.
