These "Adapters" make it SUPER EASY to try different mike types and elements (usually electret type) 'in assorted mikes' and on many radios! I bought several 'types' of elements on Amazon and eBay. I also found a great deal on 9 or 10 Motorola Base Mikes and now testing and experimenting will be MUCH easier! I hope to marry them to assorted Motorola, Kenwood and Yeasu mobiles.
