## Description

NPSelection Yogurt Starter Cultures are lyophilised starter cultures for preparing homemade yogurt from milk. Each sachet contains selected lactic cultures traditionally used for yogurt making, including Lactobacillus rhamnosus, Lactobacillus gasseri, Lactobacillus bulgaricus and Streptococcus thermophilus. This yogurt starter culture is supplied in dry sachet form and is designed for food fermentation use only. Simply mix the starter with milk and incubate using a yogurt maker or another suitable yogurt-making method, following the instructions provided with the pack. Each sachet can be used to prepare approximately 1 to 3 litres of plain homemade yogurt, depending on the milk, temperature and method used. A finished batch may also be used to reculture further batches when prepared correctly. Suitable for homemade yogurt preparation, milk fermentation and plain yogurt making. Not intended for direct consumption.

Review: Very good product - Excellent quality - very soft yogurt and good texture from the start. I always add in the first batch two spoonful of regular yogurt and one spoon of powdered milk. Second and third batch don’t need this.

Excellent quality - very soft yogurt and good texture from the start. I always add in the first batch two spoonful of regular yogurt and one spoon of powdered milk. Second and third batch don’t need this.

Benutze seit Jahren verschiedene Joghurtferment-Pulver von Probiotics Selection. Dieses hier funktioniert mit 3,5 Prozent Milch und meinem Joghurtmaker (Rommelsbacher JG80 - 1,2 Liter passen mit einem Tütchen ins große Glas) einwandfrei und ist bei längerer Dauer (voreingestellt sind 8 Stunden - ich lasse ihn 12 Stunden in der Maschine, da ich Joghurt gern etwas fester mag) suuuper lecker, gelingt sicher und hält sich im Kühlschrank im Glas auch tagelang. Kein Vergleich mit gekauftem Joghurt. Wer’s noch fester und säuerlicher mag, dem sei das Ferment für Bulgaria-Joghurt ans Herz gelegt.
