It comes with a brown covering- looks kind of like cardboard- very easy to remove. I took a warm wash cloth over the brown sticker to remove it more efficiently. Once it was all removed, I started to assemble. I read on the reviews how the pieces broke; so I was very careful to not break it. Well sure enough- the bottom piece broke in half. The pieces that go in the small holes, don’t fit that well and you have to put a little pressure to get it to pop it but when I did, it broke. I am leaving a 4 star review because the customer service is phenomenal. The clear brush stand is an upgraded version than the black( I ordered the black). The company refunded me my money within an hour in a half of me sending an email.I will order from them again- but not this black stand. I suggest ordering the clear one. ### ⭐⭐⭐ It's an okay purchase *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on February 12, 2017* At first I thought I was sent an unfinished product. After I read the instructions the brown covering is a "protective film" which is really difficult to get off. You'll need some really good fingernails or in my case a small kitchen knife to rip up a piece of the adhesive protective film and then to continue tearing off the film. The product is clear and I guess you get what you pay for. It does what it is supposed to do....hold your your makeup brushes. I gave it 3 stars because the of the packing (plastic ziploc) and the difficulty with the "protective film". I also bought the brushes separately and posted a photo of the end result. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hard to Assemble! *by N***H on Reviewed in the United States on March 7, 2017* This thing was hard to put together!! It took me a few min. and Im still not sure that its actually together right haha. It works though so I guess its not that big of a deal. I was afraid to push the parts together to hard, I didn't want it to break.
