Yes, it will work but only to 100A. If you draw less than 100A at any one time from your 280Ah cells, it will work. However, if you have an instant power draw that is larger than 100Amp, the BMS will limit that to 100A, leaving a lot of reserve amps in your cells to be used in time. In this case, you will be starved of Amperage and it will not work to the full capacity of the cells. On the other hand, you should never have such high Amp draw spikes (if you wish to keep the batteries healthy). At the same time, charging and balancing the cells will take almost 3 times longer than if using a 280A BMS. I am not 100% sure, but if I remember correctly, this BMS limits charging values to 40Amps. **Q: How do I get support?I purchased 2 last year.
