**Q: Can this be attached to a backpack, or only used with its own straps?**
A: Not really. It uses its own straps. You could probably rig something up if you try. It fit fine with my backpack over it though.

**Q: Is this waterproof?**
A: Not waterproof. It is not Goretex

**Q: Would this conceal carry a glock 19?**
A: Yes, it will bounce around if you run. Walking is fine.

**Q: what's the difference between the rig fit and vest fit models?**
A: Never had vest model. I can say this allows your body to breath an maybe more comfortable it also can be fitted over clothing that you maybe already wearing.
