So far, not one has failed. I have had no problems with either of them. They are very bright--really light up the road in front of you. The slide focus is smooth and zooms from a spot to a wide flood with nice even light. Small enough to drop into a pocket. Fit and finish is good. They warm up noticeably on high. You can also drain the Lithium battery pretty quickly on high. Running on a lower level will extend run time and still give lots of light. I wish it was easier to avoid going into those strobe modes or I could buy without but most of these low cost Chinese LED's seem to have them. The green one does not work as the switch-cap is defective. Other colors work. Tried switching the end-cap switch, then it (the green one) worked with the blue-colored switch on it.
