This product is great for those who are looking to do a washngo or a leave out. The best way to use this product is by layering it with a small-ish layer of hydrating product eg. leave in conditioner or even a hair oil specifically for those with tighter curls but for looser curl I would say apply the product first then hydrating product after wards. The reason its only 4 stars is because is because i found that if you put too much on your hair it'll start to feel dry especially if your hair is dry before hand so I say a little goes a long way. Also If you are defining curls and you don't want your curls to be coily and more elongate and loose use a little if you prefer a coily look use about a dime-sized amount and part your hair before applying then finger coil and brush.
