It ships with two syringes, but I'm still only on the first one and I think it'll probably last me another couple years. I feed brine shrimp and blood worms, so nothing to really damage the syringe. It's really good for target feeding corals because you can put the tip run above the coral to spot feed it. It's also nice not to have to put my hand in the tank when feeding, I can feed, wash the syringe, and then put it away. I haven't had any issues with this coming out or loosening, just make sure when you're assembling the syringe to give the acrylic rod a firm push into the gasket. Review: This thing is great. The fact that you get two is a bonus.. this allows me to spot feed my corals and my fish without getting my hands in tank.. A bonus was the ability to maneuver.
