Value Based on feedback I have added a brush loop (Brush NOT included), a super strong ABS plastic buckle, and made the rim stiffer, so it's always open when you are gripped and in desperate need of chalk. The bag is made of a durable nylon material with robust stitching and water resistant properties. Nylon was chosen due to its strong, lightweight properties so it will survive the worst chimney shimmy. The inside is a soft fleece lining for comfort and chalk retention. A mini carabiner is also included, and there is a central loop point on the chalk bag that easily clips onto any harness. The chalk bag also has a few softly lined, zippered pockets in addition to the large drawstring pocket.I hate to have to say my drawstring was hung up on some escess material inside the lining of the bag instead of being looped around the main pocket of the bag. This was fixed by running the string around the main pocket with a piece of wire. A quick and simple fix anyone could do.I sent a message to valley goods and they immediately replied addressing my concerns and gave a partial refund without even being asked!Although my bag had a small issue with quality control, I give this bag a 5 star review for the quality of the bag despite this small issue and because of the great support valley goods has for their customers!Thank you for the great product and service!Edit: I was already credited $5 back. For a 20 min fix. I cannot stress enough how great their service is! Great first impression now. If you are needing some guidance on what kind of equipment to buy from shoes to belay devices to chalk, REI has some very helpful articles on the subject. After some study, a chalk ball seemed the way to go and this bag comes with a refillable chalk ball bag which I was looking to buy separately. The bag itself is well made with plenty of pockets. For the whole package, super great value. I am not using the waist strap in the near future, but I may someday. It slides off easy and I just folded it up and stuck it in one of the pockets not to lose it while I just have the chalk bag clipped onto my harness with the mini carabineer that comes with it. Package came on time with Prime and in great condition. Very happy with my purchase and would buy again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Good bag, but Soft Sided *by D***D on Reviewed in the United States on May 18, 2017* Good product and serves its purpose, but..........I was expecting it to hold its shape on its own a little better. I use this at the gym for barbell training, and this definitely doesn't hold its shape at all. Its very soft sided and just flops around. Which is fine, I just have to make sure I close it after each use so it doesn't spill caulk on the floor of the gym. For climbers that attach the bag to their harness, this is probably not an issue at all. Also, something to note is that the belt is pretty flimsy. Not sure I'd want to use it.Otherwise a very good product. The build is of sufficient quality. The zippered pockets are actually bigger than I was expecting.
