I see that they are different lengths.** A: The diameters are a little bit bigger with each increase in size but not a lot. I had to hold them up to each other and really look at them to see the difference. The top of the pin is also a little longer with each increase in length of the pin. **Q: How much weight can these hold?** A: It holds my test leads from my DVOM and Scope, I use these for diagnostic work on vehicles so they can hold some weight I just would not over do it,hope this helps. **Q: Can I iron over these without them melting?** A: Never tried it, but I use them for jewelry making to pin down pieces that are being soldered. I use a torch that melts solder and sometimes the piece gets red hot and they will turn black, but not melt.
