Review: This was my first ever purchase of gym chalk. I've been hearing about the greatness of gym chalk for a while but never decided to purchase it until a few months ago. I have been consistently lifting weights going on 9 years now, so I like to think of as my self as a seasoned vet. 90% of my gym days are heavy lifting days (big boy shit haha) I deadlift using the 10-8-6-4 scheme. For a couple of weeks I stopped going so heavy because my hands get EXTREMELY sweaty when I lift so the bar always ends up slipping out of my hand, even when I use my trick of wrapping paper towels around the bar to get a better grip. I didn't see the need to keep trying to go heavy if I couldn't get the weight all the way up. So, my order of this chalk came in on Tuesday, which was perfect because Wednesday is back day and back day = deadlifting day. Long story short, I finally got to go heavy again on the deadlift and at the end of my 10-8-6-4 (265lbs, 285lbs, 305lbs, 325lbs) sets I went for an extra 5th set and hit a new max of 365lbs. With this chalk I'll be doing 405lbs in no time!! The only thing I was initially concerned about was when I first opened the chalk I noticed it wasn't finely broken up/ powered. It had a lot of clumped up pieces inside so I thought I had gotten a bad order. I recommend this chalk to anyone who wants to improve their deadlift weight/max. Also , the price you pay for this amount of chalk is unbeatable!

I managed to clear her an area to dance on regular old laminate floor, but she was complaining that it's too slippery, especially the tap shoes. Generally, at class and on a stage, they use rosin on the floor, but I took a chance that this would work. It did, she loves it and says it's easier to dance. The not-so-good: First, their pic looks like this is a bag of powder but in fact was a bag of some powder but mostly chunks, to be broken down. It takes some effort to break this down, too. Don't know if that's just how it comes or some moisture got into the bag, but that's what it is. Also, and I guess this is just our lives now, it tracks EVERYWHERE and sticks to the floor. Maybe your dancer won't decide, after she's danced through it for 90 minutes, to come find you in the back of the house with ballet slippers on, but it looks like some sort of crime scene at my house and vacuuming doesn't eliminate it all; will have to mop. Still, classes are virtual and it's better to have white footprints than for her to break a leg, so there's that.

A: I got two balls. Not sure what this has to do with chalk.

**Q: What does this powder do to peoples lungs?**
A: What dirt, dust, smoke, pollen, gases, chemicals, baby powder and flour do. Just try not to inhale it. If your that worried, go to space. You won't have to worry about breathing anything into your lungs. Cheers.

**Q: How does it dispense the chalk? Does it pour out or come out of the walls of the bag?**
A: The chalk is super fine and comes out of the sides of the bag. A gentle squeeze and your hand is all chalked up and ready to rock and roll!

**Q: What are the bags made out of?**
A: Seems to be cotton, very much like a sock.
