A: The color is cream. Not yellowish, but a true cream. I do have to mention that it is quite small. I like it for my sofa but it is not large enough or warm enough to use as a blanket.

**Q: Has anyone tried bleaching it to make it white**
A: Have not tried.  But it's 100% cotton so I dont see why it wouldn't work.
