No more tiny balls or tiny tab covers for little children to swallow. The cards are made of wood as is the scoreboard--great improvements. One small complaint: The letter/number on the balls should be darker and clearer. Another smaller complaint: The hatch used to load balls into the roller drum is difficult to open and close.
