I am sure on 150 it would start sooner and maybe too hot for us. It takes a few minutes for the heat to build and the heaters do cycle on and off it seems to me. But I have yet to see a time when I didn't get really hot as time went by. Expecting it to be like a volcano vent and drench you with almost unbearable heat instantly is not going to be realized. **Q: Do you have to put the foam pad inside the tent sauna?** A: I believe you’re referring to what serves as the floor of the sauna. You’ll definitely want to put that in.
