A: Milo acrylic paint isn’t directly intended for exterior surfaces or outside use. However, the paint would not "wash away" and would adhere to rocks, as long as the rock surface was properly cleaned before applying. While the paint does have decent lightfastness, direct outside UV light will affect the color more quickly than paint designed for exterior use. To protect the finished craft project, I would recommend considering a sealant to prevent additional weathering.

**Q: What is the lightfastness rating?**
A: The acrylic fluorescents have a lightfast value of 3. The scale being 1-4, 1 = excellent to 4 = poor.

Paint performs as expected. The best effects are from the orange, yellow, and green. The paint is thin and it takes many layers to achieve good results. For the best effect paint the areas that you want to be fluorescent with white first. This is definitely less difficult to work with than a previous fluorescent paint that I tried.
