Can anyone help?** A: Hi If your Lipo charger does not have the balanced charging option and just charges your battery regular, then you can utilize the balance feature on this device to balance and even out each cell to promote life of the battery.Thanks for letting me help you . **Q: just received my unit and I can not figure out how the servo tester part works?** A: You need a Y-harness to connect both a battery and a servo into the top test port. The battery supplies the power to the meter and the servo. The meter produces the pulses. A long hold on the cell button will select the servo mode, then the left and right keys will decrease and increase the pulse width, which is displayed on the screen. Works very well. **Q: How does one connect a LiPo battery to this? Has no connection instructions and pins are numbered only.** A: Your LiPo battery has two connectors, a tamiya type connector that plugs into the device, and a second connector that connects to the charger. It is this connector that attaches to this device. See all those little pins on the right side? Those slide into the charging connector of the battery and provide power to the meter. If it isn't turning on, flip the connector over and try it on the other side. There will be unused pins unless the battery is utterly massive. I have a 7.4v that uses I think 3 pins and a 11.1v that uses five. **Q: Will this check the voltage of the 1s 3.7v 180mah 45c li-po batteries that my blade nano uses, without needing any adapter wires or plugs?** A: My 1S batteries micro jst plug is not soldered directly to the battery, it has a pigtail unlike the blade, so I am able to plug directly in. You might need an adapter to connect to the the NiMH/Cd plug which will read the voltage on 1S batteries but wasn't accurate for me when compared to charger and multimeter. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐ Mojado *by on Reviewed in Mexico 14 December 2021* Llego con agua el producto, lo dejaré secar y posterior checarlo ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ good *by on Reviewed in Australia 15 March 2025* battery tester ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is the battery tester to get *by on Reviewed in Canada 2 July 2019* I have several battery testers, but this Tenergy is the most useful.While many testers of the same style will only test the voltage of your cells or pack, this one offers some extras:- it can test the internal resistance of your lipo cells.- it can balance your Lipo packs.- It can discharge your packs (while this feature works, it should only be used for about 6 minutes, according to the manual, to avoid overheating).- it can test servos.Switching between these modes is pretty easy and the display will give you an indication of what mode you've selected using two/three letter words for each mode.In addition, it does provide these basic features:- lipo voltage alarm, which will beep when your set voltage is hit. To be honest, this battery tester is too large to be used as a voltage alarm in most RC vehicles, but it does work.- Can tell you the individual cell voltages.- It can tell you the min and max voltage for your cells.- It can give you the voltage difference between the highest and lowest cell.I've used this to test multiple LIPO packs (it helped to confirm that two were in need of being replaced) and several NIMH packs. To test a servo, you will need to connect a battery via a servo-style plug (made an adapter that connects to my deans plug batteries).The servo tester function is nice, and it works, but I prefer servo testers with knobs so you can also test servo speed with ease.Overall, this is a great battery tester, especially if you have LIPOs.
