I was skeptical, but the new one arrived quickly and works well. I'm hopeful that I initially just got a bad one and that this one will do the job I need it to. One thing I will say is that if you order this product, you do need to charge the microphone for a bit before using it. The instructions strangely do not say anything about that. It does come with a cord that you'll need to use with your own power base. Since the receiver plugs right into your phone, I don't think it needs to be charged. (The instructions don't say anything about that either.) But all said, the customer service I received was excellent and this is a company that will stand by their product. ORIGINAL REVIEW I bought this lavalier mic a while ago and just recently had occasion to use it. Charged it up and it worked well for one video. After that, the sound stopped and started randomly and even after an hour of trying to record video, everything I did was completely unusable because the mic sound kept coming in and out. I tried everything I could think of to fix it. I do not see any way to contact customer service - if someone would help me get this thing to work I'd gladly update my review. But for now, 1 star (if I could give 0 I would) - because not only can I not get it to work, I can't even find troubleshooting recommendations.
