Aqua Charge is simply the dye/cleaning solution. This product will need to be mixed with Methanol to prevent freezing in temps below 32F. Use these rates to obtain a -20F freeze point: 1 quart Aqua Charge, 13 gallons Methanol in a 55 gallon drum, and top off with water. **Q: Am I correct that this does not provide anti-freeze ? I think I have to add methanol to get the anti-freeze property that is in the ready to use...** A: Correct. You would have to add something to prevent it from freezing. This product didn’t seem much better than water and blue dye, so you might look around for other options. **Q: I was mixing the product and got some on my hands , How do you wash it off? is like blue ink. Would stain the car's paint???** A: The dye is strong and leaves blue color stains on the white paint of the car and countertops. It will clean up but I don't like having blue spots after using the windshield washer. Will be returning the product. **Q: would isopropl alcohol work to combat freezing?** A: Yes it does. My last batch I added 1 bottle of 70% per gallon and it is good down to about 15 to 20 degrees.
