Got a good deal on sale. Takes a bit to assemble. Review: Comfortable chair - This chair was reasonably easy to assemble. Sitting in it is comfortable. The awning at the top is a little small to get adequate shade. Quality of construction is pretty good. But after a lifetime in product design I think there’s a few things that could be improved. The chair is top heavy. Making getting on and off a bit tricky. It also causes another issue I address later The seating surface right now, when new is really good. The cushioning inside it appears to be some sort of spongelike foam. While it’s dry it’s o.k. This chair is expected to be outdoors all of the time. And from time to time rain will fall. When the seating cushion gets wet it will stay wet for a long time. I find this to be a problem. I don’t want to wait many days for it to dry. As a result, I bought a cover to fit on it. This cover doesn’t say it was made by the same company but it fits very well and has fasteners so well located one might think it was. The cover keeps the rain off but introduces a problem. If the wind is strong during the rain storm (or otherwise) it will catch the wind similar to how a sail catches the wind. Resulting in the entire chair tipping over. Now this relatively heavy chair is lying on its side and the cushioning is getting wet. :( I did right the chair but I had to remove the cover and the cushioning to bring indoors to dry. Also, the included awning has poor screw connections for the wire spreaders. One screw was stripped as delivered. This allows one wire awning support to fall off. To address the fact that it can tip over in the wind with the cover on I’m going to try placing sand bags on the feet to try stopping this. This is going to result in it becoming somewhat unattractive. This is how things are right now. Maybe I’ll get it improved as time goes on and I’ll return and modify my review. As it is now, it’s a little unstable without anyone sitting on it. The color is perfect. It matches my house very well. ## Features - WEIGHTLESS LOUNGING: Features a comfortable chaise seat with a tempered steel cantilever to create a unique, suspended, lounging experience - UV-RESISTANT CANOPY: Relax in shaded bliss thanks to a 46-inch removable polyester shade canopy for those extra-sunny afternoons! - PLUSH COMFORT: Lie back and enjoy a set of ergonomic, 2-inch foam-filled cushions, a 265-pound weight capacity, and a removable headrest for extra comfort and support - VERSATILE: Unique design adds a functional accent to any space; enjoy it in your living room, garden, deck, porch, and patio - QUALITY MATERIALS: A powder-coated steel frame pairs with water-resistant cushions and weather-resistant polyester to create an all-around superior lounge chair; OVERALL DIMENSIONS: 73"(L) x 46"(W) x 78"(H); Weight Capacity: 265 lbs. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B08CS5GNGD | | Additional Features | Water Resistant | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Arm Style | Armless | | Back Style | Cushion Back | | Back style | Cushion Back | | Brand | Best Choice Products | | Brand Name | Best Choice Products | | Color | Navy Blue | | Colour | Navy Blue | | Cushion Style | Boxed Edge | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 643 Reviews | | Fill Material | Foam | | Finish Types | Ergonomic | | Form Factor | Canopy | | Frame Material Type | Alloy Steel | | Furniture Finish | Powder coated | | Is Customizable? | No | | Is Foldable | No | | Item Depth | 46 inches | | Item Dimensions | 185.4 x 116.8 x 198.1 centimeters | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 185.4D x 116.8W x 198.1H centimeters | | Item Weight | 33.57 kg | | Item weight | 33.57 kg | | Leg Style | Curved Leg | | Manufacturer | Best Choice Products | | Manufacturer Part Number | SKY5872 | | Material | Alloy Steel | | Material Type | Alloy Steel | | Maximum Weight Recommendation | 265 Pounds | | Model Number | SKY5872 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Pattern | Solid | | Product Care Instructions | Wipe Clean | | Product dimensions | 185.4D x 116.8W x 198.1H centimeters | | Recommended Uses For Product | Camping, Relaxing | | Required Assembly | Yes | | Room Type | Living Room | | Seat Height | 19 Inches | | Seat Material | Polyurethane | | Tilting | No | | UPC | 842957123186 | | Unit Count | 1.0 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Best Choice Products - **Colour:** Navy Blue - **Item weight:** 79 Pounds - **Material:** Alloy Steel - **Product dimensions:** 185.4D x 116.8W x 198.1H centimeters ## Images ![Best Choice Products Outdoor Hanging Curved Steel Chaise Lounge Chair Swing w/Built-in Pillow and Removable Canopy - Navy Blue - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71M+Yi-+nWL.jpg) ![Best Choice Products Outdoor Hanging Curved Steel Chaise Lounge Chair Swing w/Built-in Pillow and Removable Canopy - Navy Blue - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61hPWMAelwL.jpg) ![Best Choice Products Outdoor Hanging Curved Steel Chaise Lounge Chair Swing w/Built-in Pillow and Removable Canopy - Navy Blue - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71cZZwoN+wL.jpg) ![Best Choice Products Outdoor Hanging Curved Steel Chaise Lounge Chair Swing w/Built-in Pillow and Removable Canopy - Navy Blue - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71mi9B29ZPL.jpg) ![Best Choice Products Outdoor Hanging Curved Steel Chaise Lounge Chair Swing w/Built-in Pillow and Removable Canopy - Navy Blue - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71pxBkJPzQL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: What is the rocking motion like? Can you describe it? Thx!** A: I love the rocking motion and find that you can rock easier if your derrière's pushed as far back as possible so the chair doesn't hit the back bar. It's easier to turn the chair sideways if you don't want to hit the back bar. Also, I like to use a short hiking stick to keep the chair rocking. This is such a relaxing chair. I highly recommend it. **Q: I own this item. How can you order a replacement cushion and canopy? Mine faded very quickly and it seems crazy to purchase an entirely new chair.** A: CHECK DIMENSIONS but I found this & its $48 in many colors!! MICTONY Outdoor Hanging Lounge Chair Replacement Cushion Cover and Umbrella Fabric, Made for Patio Curved AS OF JULY 22 2023 on Amazon Chaise Hammock Floating Swing Chair Pads, Waterproof Soft Fabric (Cushion Not Included), Blue https://a.co/d/2dXBiYn **Q: If this lounger sits in the backyard where the irrigation system comes on, will they rust?** A: Mine rusted very quickly. I had to repaint the frame. **Q: When laying in the swing, will it continue to swing like a gravity chair or pendulum or does it stop swinging after a few seconds?** A: it does swing.. if you move.. but if you are still, reading etc.. it will stop.. any movement will move the swing. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice *by A***R on 26 July 2026* Love this.
