Before I found it and started using it, I had been experiencing severe symptoms of PMDD for a little over a year. A few days before my period I would become so angry, irritable, and even suicidal. I felt crazy. It was quite scary. I also experienced cramps, waking up between 2-4am unable to fall back asleep and night sweats. I felt like I couldn't go anywhere or be around anyone during this time. I tried so many other products, and nothing seemed to help. I felt hopeless. I had actually tried several of the products listed in the PMS Comfort ingredient list (chaste berry/vitex, black cohosh, and Dong Quai) already, but they either gave me severe headaches or didn't seem to help at all. PMS comfort seems to be the perfect blend! I have no negative side effects. I just have my life and mind back! The product is kind expensive, but the serving size is two capsules and I have found that I do great just taking one a day. I up my dose to two a day the week before my period and back off again when I start and it is like a miracle how much better I feel! The bottle says that it may take 2 or 3 months for it to start helping, but I started taking it a week before my period the first time and I had minimal PMDD symptoms. After the birth of a child at age 37 my hormones were a mess, and a couple years later things were feeling even worse! I decided to try this stuff and it really helped! After about 2 months of taking this with Cal/Mag/Vitamin D and fish oil, my bloating and cramps midcycle have pretty much stopped and my emotions are much more level and I'm feeling much happier! I didn't realize how much this helped until I went off of it for a month (I ran out, then went on vacation, and didn't order more right away when I got back). Within a couple weeks of being off it I noticed my moods went back to feeling sad and angry and stressed out. But the big thing I hadn't even realized - after the birth of my son I developed a bad case of eczema on my hand that never went away. The fatigue that I experienced was significantly decreased compared to without it. The day that I got my period I was shocked because I had no headache!!! None at all.
