Much to my dismay silicone, stretches overtime, and the iPod case would fall out of it. It never closed securely, and I was always worried that I would lose my expensive AirPods. With this one, I have no worries. The snap closure is extremely secure. The case fits the AirPod Case perfectly ; it’s snug and I never worry that it’s going to slip out. It can be attached to a purse or key ring and the clip swivels so it won’t break off. I especially like that I don’t have to take the case off to charge.
