The tea makers in the store next to where I live sell a tea difuser at appr. 70-90$; that is just the teamaker, no cups, no tray, no portable case. It's also worth mentioning that I've washed the wooden tray 3-4 times now and it looks the same! The only two minor issues, not worth bringing down the rating in my opinion, is that 1) you would need tweezers/pinches (does not come with the set) to remove the pot inside once the tea is infused. Alternatively, you could do it with your fingers, but it will be a bit hot. 2) The wooden tray warped a little during my use, but it readjusted itself afterward (I don’t know how, probably just due to the effect of temperature).
