I just don't want to spend a lot of money for this type of product. That being said, I don't have a reference point to say a $50 dollar unit is better or not. I can't tell you if this performs as well as those with the same soap solution ratio. What I can share is that this has been a solid performing unit. With a normal 5oz to 30oz ration, and the right type of soap, it foams up and suds very well. I've been experimenting with soap of a reasonable cost and some perform better than others. I have not had issues where I felt it was not living up to the bill of a foam cannon. Built quality appears to be excellent. The larger opening makes it easy to apply soap and water. I don't tweak the nozzle, leaving it on full foam. For reference, I have this attached to Ryobi electric pressure washer so can't comment if a higher water volume or pressure impacts performance. What I can say is that it has been a great working unit for my set up. The bottle (30 oz of soap solution) will typically last a car (SUV, large car). It is quick and easy to refill if doing multiple cars in a wash session.
