I got these because my second holes are always irritated. I can't keep studs in them, I usually keep small stainless hoops in them but I was tired of the locking mechanisms breaking. I also wanted something that looked more feminine and dainty. I wore these for 11 days and I couldn't stand it anymore so I switched them out for stainless hoops. My ears instantly started to feel better. I kept waiting to see if my ears would clear up and I shouldn't have, they became incredibly infected with these earrings in. I did wash and sterilize them with alcohol before wearing them. The metal barely looked gold to me, the quality of the openings were poor and rough.
