It is totally safe. Check you tube video for Weber/Torjik. **Q: Can it be attached to a natural gas line?** A: No. And what would be the point? It's a small, portable grill. It can be connected to a standard 20lb propane tank via an adapter hose. **Q: What brackets needed to mount on pontoon** A: I did not have to mount any brackets it is perfect for me we all love it **Q: If we have rail mounts for our pontoon boat does this grill have the holes necessary in the bottom of the legs to mount?** A: If you purchase this grill here on Amazon it will not have the necessary holes for a pontoon rail mount.
