We decided to use the bags as they would save us some work. We ordered this product, wished to cancel the order but it was too late but the price was refunded and we were told to do with the product whatever we wished, so we used them. Truthfully, now I am sorry for having used them. Among our composters, we have a tumbler which produces compost in 2 weeks. We used these bags in our collection pot in our kitchen to catch food scraps and then when full enough, take them to either the tumbler or one of our other composters. At the time I was putting all into the tumbler. After awhile, the tumbler was about half full of compost and plastic bags. I sincerely believe these bags do not compost! The tumbler is so full of them, when I dump the contents, we will have to sort out the bags and throw them away. What a disaster! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love that they are biodegradable *by R***A on Reviewed in the United States on April 2, 2017* these bags are wonderful. they fit my kitchen maestro compost pail perfectly. i use a rubber band to keep it in place as sometimes the bag gets heavy and would naturally slip down. i love that I can throw this in my green compost trash can or in my compost bin depending upon what I have in it. I do bring the entire pail over with me, just in case it starts breaking down a little early. I previously used regular plastic bag that came with my compost pail. it was just a mess to compost without throwing out the bag. I love these! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Interesting texture but slips into the pail easily *by C***R on Reviewed in the United States on September 6, 2017* I love that these bags are actually meant for home composting but we don't know how well they break down yet since we just started using them. The one inconvenience we noticed right away is that we have to use a rubberband to hold the bag in place otherwise everything that gets tossed in the pail will pull the bag down inside. Not sure if this is a real problem since a rubberband is easy to come by when buying veggies packed in bunches.
