Not sure why I waited so long - probably because I wasn't using it so much. But I've been making a lot of soups lately and rather than using the plastic ladle, I've been using a stainless steel ladle but not one designed for soup.This ladle is awesome. I'm sure it would have no problems going in my dishwasher, but I just hand wash it so that I have it ready for my next helping of soup. The handle stays cool although it might get hot if the ladle is left in a pot leaning against the rim of the pot, but I never leave it in the pot so I haven't experienced any issues with that. The handle is rigid yet very comfortable to hold. The green silicone bowl of the ladle is deep enough to serve up a hearty after-surf portion of soup with just a few spoonfuls. It is rigid enough to hold the weight of the big pieces of meat I like to put into my soups.Highly recommend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product ...
