There's a small crack on the bottom but I don't see it splitting the bowl apart. It's fine for a fruit holder. I was really hoping this would have arrived in more of a bowl / circular shape, that's the only reason keeping this from a 5 star review.UPDATE: SO SAD! Just over a month later it CRACKED! In my original review I noted the small crack but didn't think it would affect the bowl.I strongly suggest returning this item if it appears cracking at all. As of now I'm taking my 4/5 review down to 1 star. I added 2 new photos of the crack. I will try to return and see what happens.UPDATE 6.22.17: After leaving this review and submitting feedback to the seller, they contacted me and sent me a replacement wood bowl. The one that was sent was beautiful, round, and perfect. I wanted to wait a few months to update my review in case the replacement cracked also. So far so good!
