These headphones are great, extremely well presented and boxed, when you open it, it feels like a top quality piece of equipment. They are really comfortable and sound very VERY good.It's hard to imagine you can get a set of headphones of this level for the price. Yes they are mostly plastic, but I am not gigging with them, I am tracking with them at home and they are handled with care so I can't see why they wouldn't last. I feel, that I got a fantastic deal considering their relatively flat and true recreation of recorded sound.

A: No, they are closed back headphones.

**Q: are these semi-open?**
A: They are closed back. The little cosmetic mesh areas on each earcup -look- like they might be open or semi-open, but that's not the case. These actually leak very little sound, which was an important criteria for me.

**Q: Does the mic have volume control for singing recording**
A: No controls for the mic. The cable with the mic also puts it in mono. With the other cable, the headphones are of course in stereo and sound great.

**Q: Can you listen to two audio sources at the same time?**
A: Two if you use the 1/4 inch a
Jack as well. i.e. if you were listening to your monitor and plug in a guitar
