I wanted some palm trees. I had the covers on for a week. A big truck and trailer full of palm trees ran over three of them very slowly. Did it backwards as well. They did go farther in the ground some. But did not get to the sprinkler heads. **Q: do you have to remove the sprinklers to install these?** A: No , the easiest way I found was to dig out around the sprinkler head. They do have a tool for this at home depot for 24.00 and while there buy bags of pea gravel river rock and install around and on the inside to insure no grass grows back and the sprinkler head stays in place and great appearance. Great product and look **Q: How does this product protect a sprinkler head?** A: It protects against lawn mowers, string trimmers and lawn traffic ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ PROTECTS SPRINKLER HEADS!! *by A***R on August 20, 2026* Easy to install and keeps the heads from damage from mowing and trimming! Easy to install; I have not tried to use the perforated lines to edge it near a driveway or landscape obstacle. Those lines to get a bit flimsy. I wish they made a version for out in the open with no scored lines. I would buy again if I needed, though wish they were a bit less expensive. ## Frequently Bought Together - GRASSHOLE - Sprinkler Head Protection (10-Pack), Green - Sprinkler Head Removal Tool 4-in-1, Replace Your Sprinklers Without Digging in Under 2 Minutes, Most Brands Rainbird Toro Orbit Hunter K-Rain, Upgraded Tool Made in USA, Rust-Proof Sprinkler Shirt - Custom Design Products 3.5" Sprinkler Head Grass Cutter, for Use with Drill, Made in USA --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/380224658-grasshole-sprinkler-head-guard-protector-donut-style-prevents-mower-damage](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/380224658-grasshole-sprinkler-head-guard-protector-donut-style-prevents-mower-damage) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-15*
