Your pickup gets soldered to the middle prong of the vol. pot and the neg goes to the volume pot back. **Q: Where do I solder the pickup wire on the switch?** A: The hot wire for each pickup is to be soldered to the outer poles on the switch. The neck pickup wire to the forward throw position and the bridge p.u. wire to the rear throw position pole. These switches are not built well, so if you can, test the switch before soldering and installing. I have had two bad switches which I had to un-install. **Q: Are the potentiometers audio taper?** A: The volume and tone pots increase when turned up and decrease when turned down.
