In the regular version, no knowledge of music is necessary. As you compete to build your measures, you can stop an opponent with a "Give it a Rest!" (penalty card), or play a note card to build your own composition, but in either case you cannot exceed 4 beats per measure. Watch out for Amadeus (the wild card). In the educational version players must name each note and symbol before playing it. When finished, all players hum the winner's "crazy" composition, learning new rhythms. Each game has both sets of rules, and great fun for the entire family! Students can play for hours as they become more and more familiar with notes, note values and music symbols.
